Zakopane

(2 September)
We just spent 1 night on the Polish side of the Tatra mountains, having already had 3 days on the Slovakian side walking our boots off. So we mainly hung around the very nice resort town of Zakopane. It's very well set up for skiing, hiking etc.

Before heading off to Krakow we took the easy ride of a funicular up one of the lower mountains. Still pretty stunning views:
Give that man some shaving oil

And Ben couldn't resist the luge:
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

We didn't really do too much, but sometimes it's just nice to absorb the atmosphere.

Next stop, a wet week in Krakow, but that's a long post, so next time. In the meantime: we've made it to Kaliningrad (Russia), heading to Lithuania tomorrow.

JoJo and Bin,

Loving the updates - I'm dead impressed by the climbing efforts of the lady with the baby! Martin and I have just been having a look at your latest tales.

Peachy xxx

The adventures of the bump continue apace... you have a lot to tell the wee one when he/she arrives! Can you publish a sideways Joanna shot so we can admire the bump in full glory (and pat it from afar).
lots of love and take care xxx
